Tap water that’s clean, fresh, and safe shouldn’t feel like a luxury, but for many, it does. When we bought our Water2 Pod 2.0 Starter Kit we wondered how much of a difference it would actually make. With their claims of advanced filtration technology it certainly sounded promising from the outset, being designed to tackle everything from chlorine and heavy metals to microplastics and other emerging contaminants.. Pollutants have been at the forefront of water quality discussions, with lead contamination making headlines in recent years because of it's severe health implications, especially for children. The ability to remove chlorine improves taste and eliminates potential skin and hair irritants commonly found in tap water. Perhaps most notably, the Water2 Pod claims to filter out PFAS and PFOA, often referred to as "forever chemicals."
